Cross-Synchronizer Atomic Composability

A contract's reassignment counter reads 2. What does that tell you?

• It is currently active on two synchronizers
• It has been unassigned twice in its life
• Two participants confirmed its last assignment

Which statement about a reassignment is accurate?

• It is one atomic transaction across two synchronizers
• It is two confirmation requests, one on each synchronizer, and the contract is never active on both
• It copies the contract to the target and archives it on the source later
